Regional HR Manager – South East Region
Full-Time, Permanent
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, people-focused HR Manager to join us on a permanent basis, supporting our South East region. You’ll be the face of HR for our operational sites, building strong relationships with site leadership teams, offering expert guidance, and ensuring our high standards in service and delivery are upheld.
This role is designed for an accomplished HR professional. It requires the confidence and credibility to influence at all levels, the resilience to work in a fast-paced operational environment, and the ability to drive meaningful progress. You’ll consistently embody our core values of trust, passion, integrity, inclusivity, and curiosity.
You will also have the support of your incredible HR Advisor, who you will lead, mentor, and guide helping them grow in confidence and capability as they continue their development journey.
While not an entirely site-based role, we believe it’s important for you to live within a reasonable commuting distance to one of our main Southeast sites, as you’ll spend time on-site building visibility and connection, while also making effective use of home-based days to manage your diary and strategic work. Travel across the region will be a regular and expected part of the role, and a company car is provided to support this if you chose this option.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead and deliver operational HR across the South East region, covering the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
* Partner with senior leaders to implement their functional people plans in alignment with business strategy.
* Act as a trusted point of contact for complex employee relations matters, resolving issues efficiently and compliantly.
* Lead and support on HR change projects, including restructures, organisational design, and cultural initiatives.
* Use HR data and insights to inform decisions, measure outcomes, and drive performance improvements.
* Maintain compliance and governance in all HR practices, ensuring fairness and consistency.
* Drive talent management, engagement, and development initiatives in line with our HR strategy.
* Work closely with central HR teams (CoEs) to deliver recruitment, learning & development, and talent initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
* CIPD Level 7 (or QBE – qualified by experience) with strong operational HR experience.
* Proven success in delivering impactful people plans.
* Skilled in employee relations, talent management, and engagement.
* Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with experience working with senior stakeholders.
* Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment with competing priorities.
* Experience coaching and mentoring others.
Why Join Us?
This is a impactful role where you will be embedded at the heart of our operations, influencing decisions and shaping the people agenda across the Southeast. You’ll enjoy autonomy, trust, and the support of a collaborative HR team that’s committed to delivering results.
What We Offer:
* Competitive salary with company and performance-related bonus.
* Company car or cash allowance.
* Private Medical Insurance.
* 25 days’ annual leave + 8 bank holidays.
* Cycle to Work Scheme.
* Life Assurance (4x salary).
* Matched pension contributions (4.5%, rising to 7.5% after 2 years).
