Quality Manager – FMCG
Our client, an expert in manufacturing cleaning products, known for delivering reliable, high-quality services across residential and commercial spaces are currently looking for a Quality Manager.
This is a full time role based in Thetford working Monday – Friday.
Key Skills & Experience:
1. Previous experience in a technical role min 5 years
2. FMCG experience min 5 years, preferably Chemical industry
3. BRCGS experience
4. Auditing, internal and being audited by external bodies
5. Understanding of COMAH requirements
6. Risk analysis; being able to identify key risks and their mitigations
7. Report writing for use by external parties and internally
8. Excellent understanding of the technical issues arising and how to address these proactively
9. Ability to influence individuals, internally and externally and at all levels of the organisation.
10. Excellent attention to detail, with previous experience in auditing
11. Ability to write comprehensive and useful reports that adequately address issues and provide information to enable decision making as required
12. Document management skills, implementing and maintaining
13. Ability to work as part of a cross functional team to proactively resolve issues and ensure that the correct technical information is available and processes are adhered to.
14. Preferably degree qualified in a scientific discipline.
15. Excellent Microsoft office skills.
Key Duties:
16. Be the key contact person responsible for ensuring technical compliance
17. To support External audits and complete Internal Audits
18. Coordinate and lead Customer Audits of the company
19. Be the coordinated of customer complaints response and ensure that any or all corrective actions are put in place
20. Auditing to GMP/ISO standards so that going forward we are ready for these standards should we want accreditation.
21. Ownership of monitoring of incoming Raws/Components ensuring fit for use before they get onto the line.
22. Supplier reviews to ensure materials purchased are of appropriate standard, consistency and are ethically produced
23. SOP reviews for processes and procedures relevant from a technical perspective to the business.
24. Ensuring correct documentation is in place on portals
25. Portal management – ensure portals are regularly reviewed, updated and responded to as appropriate
