HR Officer
Location: Leeds
Salary: Up to £45,000
Contracts: 12 Months FTC / Hybrid Working
My client is seeking an experienced HR Officer to join their busy, solution-focused HR team. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of HR activities, including workforce planning, recruitment, and supporting managers with complex employee relations issues.
Responsibilities Included:
Coaching and supporting managers with complex employee relations issues, such as absence management, performance management, and grievances
Providing advice and support to staff and managers on terms and conditions, employment policies, and procedures
Developing and facilitating HR workshops and training activities
Managing HR processes, including fixed-term consultations, promotions, and the reward and recognition process
Collaborating with HR Managers and the wider HR team to identify and deliver initiatives and projects that continuously improve the service
Skills and Attributes:
Proven track record in successfully delivering generalist HR casework, including recruitment/selection, absence management, performance, and grievances
Experience using HR information systems and ability to interpret and analyse statistical HR data
Problem-solving approach with the ability to adapt your style as the work dictates
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with managers and staff
