The Role
As a Senior Developer, you will work with product owners, business customers and within the Digital Platforms Team to deliver highly complex and bespoke enterprise cloud services.
As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering user‑centred digital applications by writing clean, testable code and enforcing engineering best practices, while building and evolving web, API, and integration services at scale—optimising performance and security, and ensuring availability, resilience, and observability on modern cloud platforms.
You will work both within your team and alongside the wider Oxfam Architecture, IS and Digital teams to balance functional and non-functional deliveries.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:
Ability to solve collaboratively complex problems, understanding of business processes (i.e. analysis and design).
Experience of being part of a team supporting enterprise systems, clear and concise communication with customers.
Strong experience developing with C#/.NET within an enterprise environment.
Strong experience of working with Web/REST APIs with demonstrable knowledge of design patterns and their practical relevance.
History of promoting good secure development, performance testing, unit testing, refactoring & test-driven development.
