Salary: GBP45,000 – GBP55,000

Roles and Responsibilities of a Quality Manager:
* Oversee and maintain the full Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
* Drive and embed a strong quality culture across the organization through leadership, communication, and training initiatives.
* Manage and develop the Quality Engineering (QE) team, including performance reviews, mentoring, and resource planning.
* Monitor, analyze, and report on Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
* Ensure effective root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
* Support audits and inspections, both internal and external, and ensure timely closure of findings.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to uphold quality standards.
* Develop and maintain quality documentation, including policies, procedures, and work instructions.
* Stay up to date with relevant industry standards, certifications, and best practices.
Requirements for the Quality Manager:
* 3–5 years of experience in Quality Management within an Automotive Environment
* Good understanding of Quality Management Systems
* Proven experience embedding a strong quality culture
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality policies and system requirements
* Knowledge of IATF (essential) & VDA 6.3 audit policies & procedure requirements
* Knowledge of health & safety and environmental procedures
* Initiative and problem-solving abilities (Quality Core Tools)
* Good communication and time management skills
* Proficient with Microsoft Office systems such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
