Job Title: Site Manager – Fire Door Installation (Short-Term Contract) Location: Ruislip, Greater London Project Duration: 3 weeks (Starting 1st August) Reporting To: Senior Project Manager Overview: We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the installation of 100 fire doors across three schools in the Ruislip area. This is a short-term contract position lasting 3 weeks, starting 1st August. You will be responsible for the day-to-day on-site management, ensuring work is carried out safely, on time and to the required standard. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and coordinate daily site operations for the fire door installation. * Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times. * Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and school representatives as needed. * Monitor quality of work and ensure installations meet fire safety regulations. * Conduct daily site briefings and maintain accurate site records. * Report progress, issues, and updates to the Senior Project Manager. * Manage logistics, deliveries, and on-site workforce scheduling. * Ensure the schools' safeguarding policies are strictly adhered to. Requirements: * Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate. * Valid CSCS card. * Proven experience in managing fire door or general fit-out installation projects. * Excellent organisational and communication skills. * Ability to work within occupied school environments, adhering to all safeguarding protocols.
