About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated HR Officer to support the operation of HR services at Ormiston Rivers Academy. The role covers all aspects of daily HR operations, including pre‑employment checks, new starter inductions, probationary reviews, absence management and stakeholder support.
Responsibilities
* Conduct pre‑employment checks and facilitate new starter inductions.
* Support line managers with probationary reviews, absence management and other HR processes.
* Analyse HR data to produce metrics and analytics.
* Deliver people priorities to improve staff engagement and retention.
Requirements
* A CIPD qualification or relevant HR experience, ideally in an educational setting.
* Previous experience providing HR support to managers and other stakeholders.
* Strong knowledge of HR processes and procedures.
* Ability to analyse HR data to produce metrics and analytics.
* High organisational skills, accurate attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
* Strong relationship‑building skills across all staff levels.
* Knowledge of Keeping Children Safe in Education and safeguarding duties.
