GI Group are seeking a skilled HR Manager to join a large, public sector organisation on a 6‑month contract, to play a pivotal role in their People and Organisational Development function. This is an excellent chance to head up a dedicated HR team, deliver impactful employee relations support, and contribute to workforce strategy in a dynamic healthcare environment.
THE ROLE
In this hands-on leadership position, you will guide a specialist HR team to provide responsive, high-calibre employee relations support throughout the organisation. Core aspects include:
1. Delivering expert guidance to leaders on workforce planning, performance, change initiatives, and complex people issues.
2. Serving as the go-to advisor for challenging ER matters (e.g., absence management, conduct, grievances, capability, bullying/harassment, and probationary reviews).
3. Overseeing significant transformation projects, including restructures, TUPE processes, consultations, redeployment, and redundancies.
