Are you an experienced and proactive Site Manager with a strong background in industrial construction? We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to oversee a new GBP20m industrial project in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading national main contractor and play a pivotal role in a flagship development.

Our client is a prominent national main contractor with an annual turnover exceeding GBP500m. They specialise in delivering a diverse range of projects, from large:scale residential developments to major industrial and commercial schemes up to GBP200m. The Role
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day:to:day management of all site activities for the GBP20m industrial build. You will be the key on:site presence, ensuring the project runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently, and in line with the project program.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all on:site operations, including labour, materials, and plant.
*
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and direct labour.
*
Ensure strict adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
*
Implement and enforce all health, safety, and environmental policies on site.
*
Conduct regular site inspections and toolbox talks.
*
Liaise with the Project Manager, client, and design team to resolve any on:site issues.
*
Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
The Ideal Candidate
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager on industrial or commercial new:build projects.
*
Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and regulations.
*
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
*
A proactive approach to problem:solving and a keen eye for detail.
*
Relevant construction qualification (e.g., HNC/HND).
*
SMSTS, CSCS Black/Gold Card, and First Aid at Work certification.
*
Based in or able to commute to the Birmingham area.
Remuneration
*
Salary: GBP50,000 : GBP60,000 per annum
*
Car: Company car or car allowance
*
Bonus: Performance:related bonus scheme
*
Package: Comprehensive benefits, including pension and private healthcare.
