Job Description
3. Manage Employee Relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance issues
4. Advise and support site managers on day-to-day HR matters
5. Lead recruitment and onboarding across multiple sites
6. Review and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency across locations
7. Support probation reviews, performance management, and workforce planning
8. Work closely with payroll to ensure smooth coordination
9. Provide visible HR presence across sites and build strong relationships with operational teams
10. Embed practical, hands-on HR processes following organisational change
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Manager should have:
11. Strong HR generalist experience, ideally in a multi-site or operational environment
12. Confident managing Employee Relations independently and pragmatically
13. Hands-on, solutions-focused, and able to take ownership of the HR function
14. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with managers and senior leadership
15. Ability to work autonomously while delivering consistent HR processes
16. Flexible and adaptable, comfortable with occasional travel across sites
17. Practical approach to embedding HR policies and procedures
18. CIPD qualification desirable but not essential
