HR Administrator
Location: Codsall, Wolverhampton (WV8)
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum, plus bonus
Hours: Full-time | Monday to Friday | 9am – 5pm

About the Role
We’re excited to be recruiting for a HR Administrator to join our established team in Codsall. If you have a background in administration and enjoy a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment, this could be the role for you.
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you’ll help keep our HR operations running smoothly, from maintaining accurate employee records to managing compliance and supporting HR processes, all while ensuring a positive experience for our team. You’ll also support payroll changes, references, and supplier reviews to keep our HR operations efficient and cost-effective.
As you gain experience, there’s a clear progression path to becoming a HR Assistant, giving you the chance to take on more responsibility and broaden your skills. We’ll also fully support you to work towards a CIPD qualification, helping you build a strong foundation for a long-term career in HR.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Respond to HR enquiries quickly and clearly, supporting staff and managers
2. Keep employee records, compliance documentation, and HR systems accurate and up to date
3. Manage DBS checks, staff compliance, and training requirements
4. Support starters, leavers, sickness records, exit interviews, and TUPE transfers
5. Administer rewards schemes, loyalty gifts, and seasonal initiatives
6. Arrange travel, accommodation, and stationery orders as needed
7. Support the HR Manager and wider team with general admin tasks
What You’ll Need
8. We’re open to strong administrators from any background, and HR experience is a bonus but not essential.
9. Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with a professional telephone manner
10. Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
11. High attention to detail
12. Understanding of GDPR guidelines
13. Confident using Microsoft Office and other digital systems
14. Willingness to learn, develop, and deliver a high-quality service
