To actively promote and sell new and used motorhomes and caravans to customers, providing excellent service from initial enquiry through to post-sale support. The role involves meeting sales targets, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a professional and friendly experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and engage with customers in the showroom and on the forecourt.
* Provide detailed information on vehicle features, layouts, pricing, and finance options.
* Conduct vehicle demonstrations
* Handle sales enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
* Prepare and present quotes, part-exchange valuations, and finance packages.
* Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
* Maintain accurate customer records using the CRM system.
* Ensure vehicles are presented to showroom standards.
* Attend industry events or shows as required.
* Liaise with workshop and admin staff to ensure smooth delivery of sold units.
* Provide aftersales support and build long-term customer relationships.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in sales
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Customer-focused, professional, and well-presented.
* Self-motivated with a proactive sales approach.
* Valid UK driving licence (essential).
* IT literate – experience with dealership CRM or DMS is a plus.
* Willingness to work weekends and public holidays (as required).
Desirable:
* Knowledge of leisure vehicles, touring caravans, or campervans.
* Experience in preparing finance proposals and documentation.
