This is a pivotal, hands-on role for someone who loves in the weeds process, working with cross functional teams, and creating the conditions where talented people can do their best work. The Role What you’ll do: Lead all people operations across Goalhanger, from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance, development, training, and progression. Champion our culture, ensuring we retain our core values as we scale. Build smart, simple processes that work for a high-trust, fast-moving team. Partner with leadership on organisational design, workforce planning, and team structure as new shows, formats, and business lines emerge. Own our people policies, making sure they’re not only compliant, but also human, fair, and aligned with our values. Drive our DEI work with intention and real impact. Oversee wellbeing, engagement, and retention, ensuring our team feels supported and energised. Drive recruitment and best practise. Requirements What you’ll bring: Demonstrated experience in a senior People/HR role, ideally in a creative, media, tech, or start-up/scale-up environment. A builder mindset: you enjoy creating things from scratch and improving them as you go. Comprehensive understanding of UK employment law, HR best practise, and future facing people-ops tools. Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical, day-to-day delivery - you will be both hands on and have oversight. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, people trust you. A passion for culture, creativity, and supporting diverse teams. CIPD Level 5 - 7 Associate Diploma or above.
