We are now recruiting for a Developer to join our IT department.
You will assist in the design, development, and delivery of all .NET applications across a wide range of projects to support Allied’s strategy.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm and the salary is £50k.

The main duties of the role are:
* Develop and deliver new products, solutions, and integrations in accordance with agreed schedules and budgets.
* Embrace a Test-Driven Development Approach.
* Support the evolution of our solution platforms, embracing future cloud architectures.
* Ensure current and future requirements for Allied applications are understood and supported by our technical frameworks.
* Work with Project Managers, Business Analysts and Product Owners throughout the full software development lifecycle.
To be effective in this role, you must have:
* 5 years’ experience working on software projects.
* Understanding of various software development lifecycles including waterfall and agile.
* Interest in key technology developments and standards relevant to application development.
Previous experience using Azure Pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes and GRPC would be advantageous but is not essential.
