You will lead the attraction and support hiring of the talent critical to enabling the company\'s next phase of growth, delivering effective end-to-end recruitment and building scalable hiring processes that support a fast-growing organisation while reducing reliance on agencies
Key Areas of Responsibility
* End-to-end support of the recruitment lifecycle
* Direct sourcing of high-quality candidates across multiple channels
* Stakeholder management and hiring manager support
* Remove agency reliance and recruitment costs
* Enhancing employer brand and candidate experience
Specific Responsibilities
* Manage vacancies from briefing through to offer and onboarding
* Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring strategies
* Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, networking, and referrals
* Screen and interview candidates to assess suitability and cultural fit
* Deliver an excellent candidate experience at every stage
* Track and report on recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, source of hire, etc.)
* Drive direct sourcing initiatives and employer branding activities (e.g. job adverts, LinkedIn presence, careers content) to remove agency usage
* Maintain and improve recruitment processes and documentation
* Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs
About You
* Proven experience in internal recruitment or agency recruitment, with a proven track record of successful hires ideally within a high-growth SaaS, software, or SME environment
* Experienced in managing multiple, concurrent hiring requirements while maintaining quality and pace
* Solid understanding of sales recruitment, software, and broader SME landscape, with the ability to tailor hiring strategies accordingly
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide hiring decisions at all levels
* Proactive and resourceful with a hands-on approach to direct sourcing and building talent pipelines
* Commercially aware, with a clear focus on cost efficiency, direct hiring, and overall hiring impact
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
* Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a scaling business where priorities and processes evolve
Essential / Desirable
* Recruitment experience (internal or agency)
* Experience in SaaS or high-growth environments
* Knowledge of public sector market
* Ability to manage multiple roles
* Data-driven recruitment/reporting experience
* Strong organisational skills
* Experience hiring sales or commercial roles
Objectives (First 6 Months)
* Successfully deliver hiring targets aligned to business growth plans
* Reduce agency spend by at least 90% through direct sourcing in first 6 months
* Achieve an average time-to-hire of 30 days or less (role dependent)
* Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for key roles
* Improve candidate experience (measured via feedback/interviews)
* Implement or optimise recruitment processes and tracking across the business
Commission Structure
The role will operate on a performance-based incentive model designed to reward both delivery and commercial impact. This includes a baseline payment of £750 per role filled through direct sourcing (without agency involvement).
