The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and develop our quality function. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring that products, processes, and systems meet both customer expectations and regulatory requirements, while driving a culture of continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Quality department, ensuring effective performance and development of the team
* Maintain and continuously improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and customer-specific requirements
* Oversee internal and external audits, including customer and third-party audits
* Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
* Monitor and report on key quality metrics, identifying trends and implementing improvements
* Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve product quality and process capability
* Manage supplier quality performance and support supplier development activities
* Promote a culture of right-first-time, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
About You
* Proven experience in a Quality Manager or senior quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and relevant ISO standards
* Experience within electromechanical, electronics, or precision manufacturing environments would be advantageous
* Demonstrable experience of leading audits and managing customer relationships
* Skilled in problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, PFMEA, and root cause analysis
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
