Job Description
Are you enthusiastic about HR and eager to make a meaningful impact? We are looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join our busy HR team, supporting both corporate and school services.
This role offers a varied and rewarding experience, with opportunities to develop expertise in Recruitment, Employee Services, and Onboarding. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly across all three teams, providing support where required to meet departmental priorities and service needs. While the role will be primarily based within the Employee Services team, there will also be opportunities to broaden experience across other teams and further develop skills in line with evolving service requirements and professional development opportunities.
A key part of your responsibilities within the Employee Services Team will be maintaining the Human Resources database (iTrent), ensuring meticulous attention to data integrity and compliance with HR policies and procedures. You will also play an important role in the preparation and issuing of contracts of employment and associated documentation, where accuracy is essential.
You will work closely with the HR team to deliver a high-quality service, with customer care at the centre of everything you do. You will be responsible for monitoring information received from service areas and data reports for accuracy, resolving queries as needed, and supporting the maintenance of statistics for reporting purposes. Additionally, you will contribute to initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across the team.
We are looking for someone with strong IT skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and the use of large databases, alongside proven administrative experience. You should have excellent organisational and customer service skills, as well as exceptional attention to detail. Given the nature of the work, particularly in relation to employee records and contractual documentation, a consistently high level of accuracy is essential to success in this role.
Ideally, you will hold a CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice (Level 3). As a minimum, we require an experienced administrator qualified to NVQ Level 3, A Level, or equivalent, with an interest in Human Resources administration.
Joining our team offers excellent opportunities for professional development, including CIPD qualification support up to Level 5.
This is a permanent position (37 hours per week). If you have the skills and experience we are looking for and would like to develop your HR career further, we would love to hear from you.
We reserve the right to close this vacancy earlier than the advertised closing date should a high volume of suitable applications be received.
