We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator to join our friendly HR team. The role is offered on a permanent full time basis and is office based.
Working hours: Monday to Friday start times between 8am - 9am, finish times between 5pm - 6pm with an hour for lunch.
Role Specific Responsibilities
* Ensure electronic and paper-based personnel files are maintained and filing/archiving is completed in a timely manner
* Updating internal databases, trackers and systems, to ensure accurate data can be extracted
* Preparing and amending where necessary HR documents, i.e., employment contracts, addendums
* Updating and reporting regularly on business metrics
* Assisting with payroll and providing cover by providing the department with relevant employee information
* Support the recruitment process by advertising roles where and when required
* Administer the process for new employees and workers, for example, prepare contracts, offer letters, and process all pre-employment checks & right to work checks
* Administer the probation process ensuring Managers know when review meetings need to take place.
* Support the leaver process
* Chase outstanding documents
* Provide administration to support the Leap strategy and projects
* Carry out general administration tasks for the HR Department, for example, sorting post, telephone answering, devising standard Human Resources documents and letters and manage the HR inboxes.
* Respond to reference requests for current or ex-members of staff
* To carry out any other ad hoc administration where necessary including reception duties
• Length of service award process
* Value scheme process
* Supporting other business areas as required
* Supporting with Employee Relations admin, to include invites to investigations and disciplinaries, drawing up letters of concern etc and recording case progress.
* Administer the process for mid-year and year end reviews and provide progress reports to line managers.
