Role Overview
We are seeking a creative, commercially minded, and highly organised Sales Executive to
drive the growth of our wedding & event portfolio. Working directly under the Wedding &
Events Senior Manager and in tandem with our Marketing Executive, you will be responsible
for the full lifecycle of each event
Your mission is to maximise the potential of our unique estate sites, ensuring year-round
activity and brand presence. You will be sales-focused but working in a small business,
allowing you to work across multiple departments to take events from first
touch through sales, to delivery and aftercare.
Key Accountabilities
1. Venue Programming & Sales
You will be the manager of the events calendar across our diverse portfolio:
· The Woodyard: Developing corporate retreats, winter fairs, and indoor workshops during
the non-wedding season (winter months).
· The Red Brick Barn: Events / Summer pop-ups (May–September).
· The Walled Garden (Future site): Launching a new era of outdoor dining, greenhouse
events, and garden-to-table experiences.
· Holly House (Future Site): Assisting in the 2028 launch strategy for high-end corporate
stays and intimate events.
2. Event Lifecycle Management
· Enquiry Generation: Conceptualising, drafting and maintaining marketing channels and
materials in accordance with our marketing strategy. Realising marketing outcomes by:
o Attending networking events
o Managing digital marketing channels
o Creating social media content
o Obtaining and improving online reviews and ranking
o Creating, maintaining, and leveraging customer relations for ongoing bookings
o Leveraging other estate activities and estate partner relations to drive enquiries
· Sales: Working with your senior manager to improve your sales journey and conversion.
Fielding enquiries, hosting viewings and creating client relationships. Building a client
database and observing the estate CRM policy.
· Event Coordination: Managing logistics, supplier relationships and on-site coordination
alongside the Wedding & Events team to ensure flawless client event delivery.
Additional Requirements
· Financial Literacy: Ability to manage event budgets, track ROI, and handle basic
invoicing/contracts.
· Flexibility: As an events role, weekend and evening work will be required depending on the
event schedule.
· Logistics & Health/Safety: Ensuring all events meet safety regulations and estate protocols.

Required Qualifications & Experience
· Proven Experience: 3+ years in Event Management or Business Development, preferably
within a heritage estate or high-end venue and/or hospitality environment.
· Commercial Track Record: Demonstrated experience in hitting sales targets, managing
budgets, and understanding of KPIs.
· Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for pitching to
corporate clients and managing local vendors.
· Full UK Driving License: Necessary for moving between the various estate sites.
