My client, a leading international law firm, with offices all over the globe, are looking for a Senior Reward & Performance Manager to join their London-based People function.
This is a key leadership role within a high-performing, globally connected reward team, offering the opportunity to shape and deliver reward strategy across the UK while contributing to wider international initiatives. You will take ownership of all reward and performance activity across the UK, acting as the regional expert and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. Working closely with global colleagues, HR, Finance, and business leaders, you will ensure reward frameworks are competitive, compliant, and aligned with broader organisational strategy.
This role combines strategic input with hands-on delivery, covering annual reward cycles, benefits programmes, benchmarking, and performance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the development of global reward frameworks, ensuring UK-specific requirements are reflected
* Lead the implementation of reward strategy locally, tailoring policies and communications where needed
* Oversee the UK benefits strategy and identify opportunities to enhance employee engagement
* Monitor market trends, benchmarking data, and legislative changes to ensure competitiveness and compliance
* Own end-to-end delivery of annual reward and performance cycles, including pay reviews and bonus processes
* Manage UK benefits programmes, including provider relationships and renewals
* Provide expert advice on compensation decisions such as hires, promotions, and retention cases
* Conduct job evaluations and ensure consistency with global methodologies
* Lead benchmarking exercises and contribute to salary structure development
* Utilise reward tools and systems to improve data quality and reporting
* Analyse reward data (e.g. pay equity, bonus spend, performance outcomes) to generate insights and recommendations
* Support pay transparency initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a credible and influential advisor
* Present insights and recommendations clearly to support decision-making
* Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure consistency across markets
* Line manage and develop junior team members
About You
* Significant experience in reward and performance, ideally within a professional services or international environment
* Proven track record of managing full reward cycles and benefits programmes
* Strong knowledge of UK reward practices, employment legislation, and market trends
* Experience working in matrixed, multi-jurisdictional organisations
* Advanced analytical skills with strong Excel capability; experience with tools such as Workday or similar is advantageous
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate complex data into clear insights
