Job Title: Employment Lawyer
Location: Bristol City Centre (Hybrid Working)
Salary Range: £40,000 + Benefits
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:
* Running a caseload of claimant employment matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, whistleblowing and breach of contract claims
* Managing claims through all stages, from initial advice to resolution, including Employment Tribunal proceedings
* Advising clients on their legal position, prospects of success, and potential remedies
* Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as ET1s, witness statements and settlement agreements
* Representing clients at hearings (where appropriate), settlement negotiations, and mediations
* Keeping up to date with current employment law and tribunal procedures

Application Criteria:
* Previous experience in employment law is essential - ideally with a focus on claimant work
* Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) preferred, but experienced paralegals also considered
* Proven ability to manage your own caseload independently
* Experience handling Employment Tribunal claims is highly advantageous
* Excellent client care, written and verbal communication skills
