Build Recruitment are working with a Midlands based NHS Trust to source a Head of Estates.
Role Summary
Reporting into the Director of Estates and managing an established team, the Head of Estates will be responsible for the delivery of building and engineering works, as well as ensuring that all reactive and planned maintenance activity is undertaken.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver building and engineering works and maintain reactive and planned maintenance activity.
Lead on the delivery of all Hard Services during a significant period of change, including new large‑scale developments across the property portfolio.
Qualifications
Degree level (or equivalent) in a building or engineering discipline.
Minimum 5 years in an Estate Management position.
Experience managing asbestos/legionella related issues (essential).
Approval as an Approved Person in either Mechanical, Electrical or Asbestos (ideally).
Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Remuneration
Salary up to £45k - £51k.
