We are looking for a committed SEND Learning Mentor to join a secondary school in Solihull. This role involves providing one-to-one and small group support to students with additional needs—helping them access learning, develop social and emotional skills, and thrive within the school environment.
This is a deeply rewarding opportunity for someone who values connection, consistency, and positive transformation in young people’s lives. You’ll play a key role in enabling students to build confidence, regulate emotions, and progress academically and socially.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Supporting pupils with SEND in lessons and during unstructured times.

Helping students manage behaviour and emotions positively.

Working with teachers and parents to implement strategies.
*
Monitoring progress and contributing to review meetings.
Required Experience / Qualifications:

Experience supporting young people with SEND in a school setting.
*
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust.
*
Patience and adaptability when faced with challenging behaviour.
*
Willingness to work as part of a wider support team.
