We are recruiting for a Quality Manager to join the company in Salisbury.
Quality Manager – Automotive Supplier (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, Health & Safety)
Position Overview
The Quality Manager is responsible for leading all quality, environmental, and health & safety management activities within the automotive manufacturing facility. This includes ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and support for the site Health & Safety framework, ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and legal safety requirements.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Environmental Science, Manufacturing, or related field.
Professional Experience
* 5+ years automotive quality experience, including 2+ years in leadership.
* Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001.
* Experience supporting Health & Safety activities or compliance.
* Hands‑on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, auditing, and corrective action.
Skills & Competencies
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Excellent communication and customer management.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
* Proficiency in Excel, Minitab, or similar.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Internal Auditor certification for ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or ISO 14001.
* Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
* OEM experience.
* Knowledge of environmental and safety legislation.
