If so we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our growing Development Den, to continue the production of Ground Breaking & Award Winning BI Solutions and supporting the migration and enhancement of our cloud data warehouse.
* Proven experience and skill in developing in the Microsoft SQL Server BI Stack.
* Experience utilising the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform is advantageous but not essential.
* Experience and skill in BI Self Service technologies such as Qliksense is advantageous but not essential.
The successful candidate will also have to possess excellent numeracy, logical and communication skills, be educated to Degree level or have equivalent experience & knowledge in the above technologies & Business Intelligence.
Knowledge of Health Informatics, NHS Data Structures, Processes and Analytics is Desirable however not essential.
This is a development role where the successful candidate will commence a 2 year on the job training as a band 5 before progressing to band 6 on successful completion of the programme.
The post holder will play an important role in the development of future reporting within the Trust. They will utilise and develop their relational database skills, using SQL, and their Data analytics (BI) knowledge. They will develop and analyse and interpret business and performance information to ensure the accurate and timely production of reports as per the requirements of the Trust and external bodies.
Responsible for delivering the build of data tables and identify and address the continued development and maintenance of the Snowflake Data Warehouse. Additionally the post holder will offer technical support within the Data analytics Department and other divisional teams and enhance the Trusts Data analytics solutions and service.
The post holder will be expected to work autonomously, be innovative, delivering work to a high standard within tight deadlines.
To support the department management in shaping and delivering the data analytics strategic vision to streamline activities and focus on value added goals, implementing a real time corporate approach to intelligence, a single version of the truth, exploring and utilising world class technologies and predictive analytics.
Provide support and represent the Data Warehouse service as required
This is a hybrid working role where the successful candidate will be required to commute into the Wigan office 1 day a week and work remotely the other 4.
