Role Description
The Company is seeking to appoint an On-Trade Sales Executive who will be responsible for significantly building On-Trade sales, primarily of the Oakham Ales brands & Bellwether Wines Portfolio, where there will be considerable potential for growth.
Reporting to the On-Trade Wholesale Manager they will initiate and agree structured plans for calling on existing customers and a considerable number of prospect/cold calls across a wide customer base.
This role will be a hybrid role of telesales calls and face to face meetings throughout our customer base categories with set journey plans and telesales tasks. They will actively follow through, monitor sales growth plans and ensure the delivery of set objectives.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2-years proven experience of beer and wine sales. They will be commercially astute and have an appreciation of current trends within the UK On-Trade. They will be a self-starter and a responsible individual who will be able to work with the minimum of supervision.
Excellent IT, interpersonal and presentation skills together with a high level of numeracy and literacy are essential. An excellent knowledge of Cask Ale is essential, and a good knowledge of wine is desirable. This is a very demanding role, which will suit an ambitious, focused, and determined individual who wishes to further develop their experience in sales.
