Job Title: Handyman (M/F) – Facilities Management Location: Stirling, FK8 Salary: £12-14 per hour Hours: Full-time (Monday – Friday) Contract: 2 months About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our Facilities Management team, supporting the smooth running and upkeep of a variety of commercial and residential sites. You'll be the go-to person for general repairs, basic maintenance, and ensuring a safe, well-maintained environment for our clients and their customers. Key Responsibilities: Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks across multiple sites (e.g., basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, minor electrical works). Conduct regular site inspections and report any maintenance issues or hazards. Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner. Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules. Ensure all works comply with relevant health & safety regulations. Liaise with contractors and suppliers when specialist works are required. Maintain accurate records of works completed and materials used. Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in a similar handyman or maintenance role, ideally within a facilities management environment. Good knowledge of basic building services, including plumbing, joinery, painting, and minor electrical repairs. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to prioritise workload and respond quickly to maintenance issues. A valid UK driving licence (desirable, depending on site requirements). Relevant trade qualifications (advantageous but not essential).
