Description
We are working with a Tier-1 bank to bring on a Fidessa Developer onto their application team. This role will entail joining the ongoing development and customization of the enterprise Fidessa cash equities systems in the US and Canada.
Daily Responsibilities include:
•Design and development of cash equities business requirements on the Fidessa order management system
•Work closely with regional and global business sponsors to understand their requirements and architect, design and execute technical solutions
•Collaborate with regional and global team members to form high quality solutions
•Provide guidance and mentoring for new team members as necessary
•Identify business, technology and people risks. Identify solutions or mitigating controls
•Assist with 3rd line support as required
Must Have:
•5+ years of professional experience, with hands-on development experience with the Fidessa vendor trading platform (not just integration of other applications with Fidessa)
•A strong understanding of equities trading
•Excellent programming skills in languages such as Java and Python
