We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Manager to oversee our catering operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and hospitality, along with exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a passion for delivering outstanding service and managing a team effectively to ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
* Plan and coordinate catering events from conception to execution, ensuring all client requirements are met.
* Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and presentation standards.
* Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper storage of food items.
* Lead and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols.
* Develop menus that reflect current trends while meeting dietary restrictions and preferences.
* Oversee service staff during events to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
* Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally, striving for continuous improvement.
Experience
* Proven experience in a catering management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food production techniques and kitchen operations.
* Previous supervisory or team management experience is essential.
* Familiarity with restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable.
* Experience as a barista or in serving roles can be advantageous.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
