Location: Site based in and around Yorkshire/East Midlands/East Lancashire – typically working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday
Role Overview: You will manage a skilled contractor team on health and education projects, ensuring timely delivery with zero defects and strict health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities
* Manage site teams, work activities and resources to meet contract requirements.
* Select and form site personnel teams, including subcontractors.
* Collate pre‑construction information (packs, asbestos surveys, etc).
* Ensure all contract documentation and reports are accurate and produced on time in conjunction with the Contracts Manager.
* Identify site hazards and implement risk assessments and control methods via the Construction Phase Health and Safety protocol.
* Ensure site work complies with legal and statutory requirements, including health, safety and welfare.
* Assist in preparing estimates, bids and tenders with the Contracts Manager.
* Create, manage and report on projects with multiple live site locations using a master programme.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience managing single projects up to £4 million in health or education environments.
* Refurbishment and upgrading works in hospitals or academic settings (wards, classrooms, student accommodation).
* Full UK driving licence for daily site travel.
* SMSTS or equivalent NVQ qualification.
* Confidence with IT and proficiency in MS Office.
