This roles sits within our Pulmans division.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drives new business by identification and research into new sales opportunities
* Builds and maintains contact databases
* Establish contact and develop relationships with prospects; recommend solutions
* Maintains relationships with existing clients
* Provide regular, ongoing information on new products and services
* Actively following up all quotations raised and providing feedback
* Gathering general customer feedback, market activities and competitor information
* Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standard working with all departments
* Contributes to sales team effort by meeting individual and team sales targets & gross margin targets
* Processing orders on the system and following orders through from start to completion
* Responding to internal & external emails in a timely manner
* Occasionally visit customers when necessary to promote the business and its products
Skills Required:
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining customer relationships
* Proven sales abilities and experience creating quotes, processing orders, and meeting sales targets
* Organizational and record-keeping skills to manage and maintain accurate sales documentation
* Customer service orientation with a focus on understanding customer requirements
* Proficiency in relevant sales software or CRM systems is a plus
* Prior experience in steel stockholding, manufacturing, or related industries is desirable
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and target-driven environment
