We require a part-time cook (not qualified) at our small residential Care Home. You will be cooking for up to 14 residents for their lunch time meals.
Hours of work: 9:00 am to 13:00 pm. Up to 6 shifts per week.
Salary: – will include: Prepare and cook lunch meals Ensure cooking areas and kitchen are clean and hygiene is maintained. Record daily in line with environmental health. Keeping Safer Food Better Business record file up to date.
Must have a passion for cooking fresh produce from scratch. Must be able to cook basics and bake cakes and puddings. Reliable and has ability to work on own initiative. Food Hygiene certificate and infection control level 2 required but can provide training course.
