We are looking for a Quality Manager to join our team at the Aberdeen office on a full-time, staff basis to support our project teams in the UK and internationally.

The Quality Manager is responsible for the effective management of quality assurance and quality control, delivering quality management and improvement support to a portfolio of projects within Seaway7 and across supporting functions.

They will also be responsible for developing a skilled team and maintaining a positive and collaborative working environment that encourages efficient teamwork while ensuring compliance with all quality policies, processes, and procedures.


What will you be doing?

1. Act as a catalyst for quality improvement, establishing positive working relationships within the projects, operations teams, and supporting functions.
2. Influence project managers to lead with quality across BU2 projects.
3. Support the development of the quality team, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly understood, and performance and development outcomes are effectively monitored.
4. Engage and collaborate with Seaway7 management and leadership teams to inform, affect, and shape performance intentions.
5. Manage the quality functional resource plan and resource forecasting.
6. Work closely with project and operations teams to support resource provision into the projects.
7. Work on escalation of key quality issues, leading incident investigations as required.
8. Ensure proper investigation, documentation, review, and approval of incident cases such as SPI/IQF/NCR.
9. Provide and facilitate the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) quality management approach.
10. Direct quality performance review and trend analysis within the business and report findings to leadership and supporting functions.
11. Collaborate with the HSEQ corporate team and installation delivery teams on company initiatives and performance goals.
12. Provide quality resources and support to vessel and equipment teams as needed.
13. Manage and deliver the audit programme.
14. Support the development of quality assurance and control strategies for tenders.
15. Support the quality team in engaging with risk and opportunities management.
16. Encourage and record lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.
17. Attend meetings with leadership and project management teams.
18. Monitor customer satisfaction and address issues proactively.
19. Facilitate incident case review meetings with the local quality management team (QLMT).
20. Support the development and maintenance of the business management system.


What experience would we like you to have?

* Experience in project and operations management roles.
* Degree qualification or equivalent experience.
* Experience supervising and mentoring team personnel.
* Deep background in EPCI projects and knowledge of quality disciplines in Renewables/Oil and Gas sectors.
* Extensive knowledge of contractual mechanisms, legislation, and standards relevant to the UK Renewables/Oil and Gas industry.
* Strong organizational, communication, IT literacy, and report writing skills.
* Experience presenting to senior management levels.
* Qualified Lead Auditor.
* Significant incident management and investigation experience.
* Good problem-solving skills with a practical, systematic approach.
