Job Title:
Power Platform Developer
Salary:
Up to £60,000
Location:
Newcastle upon Tyne – Hybrid (2–3 days onsite)
Work Type:
Permanent
Role:
WeDo are partnered with a growing Microsoft consultancy that’s building a strong reputation across Power Platform, automation and digital transformation delivery.
This is not a huge corporate environment where you disappear into a project team. It’s a chance to join a close-knit business where you’ll have genuine ownership, exposure to clients and the opportunity to help shape how solutions are delivered as the company grows.
The business is seeing increased demand across Power Platform projects and is now specifically looking to strengthen its capability around Dataverse, Model Driven Apps and wider Power Platform governance.
They’re looking for someone who enjoys solving operational/business problems through technology and wants to work across a variety of projects and industries rather than being siloed into one environment forever.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build and maintain Power Platform solutions across Power Apps and Power Automate
• Work heavily within Dataverse environments including security, governance and data modelling
• Develop and support Model Driven and Canvas Apps
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and shape practical solutions
• Support the full project lifecycle from discovery and design through to deployment and optimisation
• Contribute towards Power Platform best practice, standards and environment management
• Collaborate closely with a growing technical team delivering solutions across multiple customers and sectors
Required Skills:
• Commercial experience with Power Platform
• Strong Power Apps experience (Model Driven and/or Canvas Apps)
• Power Automate experience
• Dataverse experience including data structures, governance and security
• Comfortable working directly with stakeholders and translating requirements into solutions
• Experience delivering business applications/process automation solutions
Nice to have:
• Power Platform governance / environment strategy exposure
• Power BI exposure
• CoPilot / AI exposure
• Consultancy or client-facing experience
Why should I apply?
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for someone who wants more ownership, variety and long-term growth.
You’ll be joining a business that’s investing heavily into Power Platform capability and gives people the chance to broaden their exposure across delivery, stakeholder engagement, solution design and emerging technologies.
Rather than being boxed into one small area, you’ll get the opportunity to work closely with experienced people, contribute to real decisions and grow alongside the business as it scales.
The environment is collaborative, ambitious and focused on developing people properly — technically and professionally.
