We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Site Manager to join our team in a key commercial role, working on a large construction project in South Devon.
Kier Construction has a thriving business in the South West, delivering projects within healthcare, education, local authority, commercial, and leisure sectors. As a leading main contractor in the area, we pride ourselves on our commitment to the region and our capability to deliver high-value, technically complex projects that benefit local communities.
Location: South Devon
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Site Manager, you'll work within the Site Team, supporting projects that develop and support local communities.
Your Day To Day Will Include
* Taking a proactive role in ensuring the safe delivery of construction works on site.
* Ensuring quality is maintained to Kier standards through effective supervision of subcontractors and staff.
* Delivering site operational targets in line with the program.
* Addressing emerging challenges on site and directing teams to carry out works efficiently, safely, and to standard.
* Keeping the Project Manager informed of any site issues promptly and assisting in resolving them.
What are we looking for?
This role is ideal if you:
* Have experience managing large projects within a main contractor environment.
* Hold relevant construction qualifications (HND/Degree/SVQ) or technical trades.
* Possess certifications such as SMSTS 5 Day Cert, CSCS Card, First Aid.
* Prioritize safety in all aspects of work.
