Job Description: Senior Site Manager Company: VincentStokes Ltd Location: Nationwide (Initial project based in North London) Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Start Date: 4 th August 2025 Reports To: Contracts Manager / Operations Director About VincentStokes Ltd VincentStokes Ltd is a Main Contractor that delivers projects nationwide in the leisure, healthcare, retail, and commercial sectors of the industry. The business has been built on delivering fit outs, refurbishments, new builds, extensions and reconfigurations for repeat business clients, with project values ranging from £50,000 to £15,000,000 and are predominantly delivered under Design & Build contracts, although we are flexible to suit our clients' needs. We specialise within the leisure and health sectors and have developed a partnered supply chain over the past 21 years, enabling us to bring a comprehensive knowledge base to any new development scheme. We are our company and its success! Role Overview We are looking for an experienced and highly competent Senior Site Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record delivering leisure sector projects, including new builds, extensions, and high-quality fit outs. This role demands a professional who can work independently, take ownership of site operations, and maintain a clear focus on quality, safety, programme, and budget. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and work away nationwide, with the first assignment based on a leisure-sector project in North London. Key Responsibilities · Manage all on-site activities across the project lifecycle, from pre-start to handover · Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure high standards of delivery · Maintain programme milestones and take proactive steps to resolve delays · Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures · Liaise with clients, design teams, and consultants to maintain effective communication · Chair site meetings and produce detailed reports and progress updates · Manage quality control, snagging, and ensure client satisfaction at handover · Coordinate logistics, materials, and workforce on a day-to-day basis · Uphold company values and represent VincentStokes professionally on all sites Requirements & Experience · Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in a Site Management role · Solid background in delivering leisure-sector projects (e.g. gyms, leisure facilities) · Experience in new builds, extensions, and interior fit outs · Strong leadership and organisational skills; capable of working independently · Health & Safety focused · Willingness to work nationwide and travel/stay away when required · CSCS Black Card (or equivalent) · SMSTS & First Aid at Work (required) · Excellent communication, client-facing, and problem-solving skills · IT literate – comfortable using MS Office and site management software What We Offer · Competitive salary and package (dependent on experience) – circa £65K · Travel allowance · Overnight accommodation and subsistence when working away · Supportive team culture with opportunities for career progression · A chance to work on high-profile leisure projects with repeat clients To Apply Please submit your CV and a short covering letter to Rachel.vincent@vincentstokes.com.
