LEARNING MENTOR - Brighton
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Learning Mentor to join our team of dedicated and committed professionals as soon as possible.
The hours of work are 8:00am-4:00pm Monday to Thursday inclusive and Friday 8am-3.30pm, term time only weeks per year)
The salary scale for this post is LGA Scale 5 Point 13-17 currently £29,064-£31,022 full time equivalent. The pro rata salary range is £26,470-£28,253 per annum. The actual starting salary for the successful candidates will be £26,470 per annum.
Experience of working with young people is essential. The successful candidate will be supporting the engagement, attendance, and overall wellbeing of students who face challenges in accessing learning or attending school regularly. The successful applicant will work on a 1:1 and small group basis to help remove barriers to education and promote positive outcomes for young people at risk of disaffection, or non-attendance.
