Job Title: Asbestos Quality Manager
Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear
Salary/Benefits: 40k - 55k + Training & Benefits
Our client is recruiting for a switched-on and experienced Asbestos Quality Manager, who comes with a wealth of industry experience and strong technical knowledge. You will be overseeing the smooth delivery of asbestos management services, ensuring deadlines and compliance standards are adhered to. You will be joining a medium-sized outfit, with a growing presence within the industry. You will be overseeing contracts across the North Eastern region, so we can be open-minded with regards to a candidate\'s location. The role can be home-based, with the understanding that there will be some site travel involved when required. They are offering competitive salaries and a comprehensive package of benefits.

Experience / Qualifications
* Experience working as an Asbestos Quality Manager, within a UKAS accredited company
* Industry qualifications such as BOHS P402, P403, P404, P405 (or RSPH equivalents)
* Ideally, hold the CoCA and/or the CCP
* Excellent technical knowledge, including HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
* Robust communication skills
* Good literacy and IT skills
* Strong eye for detail
The Role
* Managing compliance adherence within a UKAS accredited asbestos company
* Attending site to complete auditing and quality assurance checks on site and office works
* Highlighting any areas of non-conformities
* Implementing plans to rectify any compliance issues
* Maintaining UKAS accreditation for the company
* Identifying any required training for members of staff
* Updating internal records to reflect any company procedure changes
* Maintaining a strong rapport with clients, answering any queries and providing technical advice
* Remaining up-to-date with any industry compliance changes
* Meeting with members of management to discuss company performance
