About the Role We’re seeking a standalone Sales Executive to join our Amersham showroom on a temporary basis. This is an independent role, ideal for someone confident in delivering an exceptional customer experience while working solo. You’ll be the welcoming face of Bridgman, providing expert guidance and support to our customers in choosing the perfect furniture for their homes. This position is a 3-month temporary contract with an immediate start, (Potential extension possible). Please note that this role requires working Thursday through Monday, with weekend availability essential. Key Responsibilities ✅ Customer Engagement: Confidently greet and assist customers, providing knowledgeable advice and support on our luxury furniture ranges. ✅ Sales Facilitation: Understand customer needs, qualify opportunities, and help drive sales to meet targets. ✅ Showroom Management: Maintain a tidy, welcoming, and inspiring showroom environment that reflects Bridgman’s premium brand. ✅ Administration: Accurately record sales, update customer information, and manage showroom operations efficiently. ✅ Product Presentation: Ensure products are displayed attractively and consistently, in line with brand standards. What We’re Looking For ✔️ Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment—ideally in furniture, home décor, or luxury goods (but not essential). ✔️ Confidence to work independently, managing the showroom on your own. ✔️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport easily. ✔️ A positive, proactive attitude, driven by a passion for customer service and sales. ✔️ Good organisational skills, with an eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. ✔️ Computer skills are a must—comfortable using email, CRM systems, and other digital tools to manage sales and customer data.
