Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be involved in a variety of outdoor and indoor tasks, supporting construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. Responsibilities
* Assist with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, mowing, and general garden care
* Operate hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and efficiently
* Support construction activities such as digging, lifting, and material handling
* Use excavators and irrigation systems for site development and upkeep
* Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and tools to ensure optimal operation
* Clear debris, organise materials, and prepare sites for ongoing projects
* Follow health and safety protocols at all times during work activities
* Support team members with various tasks as required to ensure project deadlines are met
Skills
* Experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance or gardening is advantageous
* Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of equipment such as excavators or irrigation systems
* Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment
* Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and manoeuvring heavy materials
* Good organisational skills with an eye for detail in maintaining work areas
* Ability to follow instructions carefully while working independently or as part of a team
* Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality as core attributes
* Willingness to learn new skills related to horticulture, construction, or maintenance tasks
