We are looking for a full-time permanent Site Manager to join our amazing team at the Bentall Centre, Kingston Upon Thames, KT1 1TP

POSITION: Site Manager

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours a week (Will need to work Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat and shift times could vary depending on needs of site).

(Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the business, which may require you to adjust your usual working hours and days from time to time)

SALARY: £42000 per annum

START DATE: ASAP

ABOUT THE JOB

Deliver consistent exceptional standards through the Management of an enlarged team of colleagues, including Assistant Manager / Supervisors, across all working hours, 7 days per week, including early morning, daytime and evening shifts. Complete regular site audits and provide reports through weekly meetings with the Bentall Centre Management Team, ensuring any issues are dealt with effectively and in a timely manner, identifying trends and future opportunities. Carrying out daily inspections and quality checks to equipment and machinery to ensure they are clean, safe and in good working order. Liaising with the client, where necessary overseeing completion of important activities/events within the Centre. Prepare and present monthly reports incorporating all elements of our service, including sub-contracted works such as window cleaning, pest control, etc and any ad hoc tasks such as events. The completion of training and development for all new and existing team members, ensuring compliance with all legislative and company policies and procedures. Ownership of all ESG elements relating to the colleagues and centre. Your duties would include but are not limited to:

* Scheduling and taking minutes of regular scheduled client meetings, covering KPI's, contract performance/development, ongoing improvements, future requirements & innovations onsite.
* Create and provide a monthly operational report presentation.
* Carry out daily audits / inspections of cleaning standards, including specialist cleaning works, using our internal audit systems – reporting and communicating any issues and actions to resolve.
* To communicate proposals of amended services, assist in both putting those proposals together and presenting to the client.
* To have an understanding of gross margin, what influences it and find ways to improve it.
* To ensure wage budgets are followed, contracted hours are delivered and any discrepancies are authorised
* Manage a team of cleaning operatives to ensure works are completed exceeding the contract specification and the Client and Company's expectations.
* Ensure Task Cards are accurate and maintained at all times.
* Ensure that new team members are fully inducted into both site and company procedures.
* Ensure they complete all delegated training via UhUb and site specific training in relation to equipment, machinery, etc.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedure, including checking equipment and machinery are clean and safe to use – report any non-compliance and follow correct procedures to remedy.
* Report any accident or near miss immediately to the ESG team, investigate and provide comprehensive and detailed report including photographs.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for:

* Previous management or supervisor experience dealing directly with clients.
* Previous cleaning experience in a public facing environment.
* Strong knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and COSHH
* Basic knowledge of HR and Health & Safety guidelines/legislation
* An organised person, a problem solver who can multitask and prioritise their workload
* Excellent standard of spoken & written English
* IT Literate with the ability to work with the company systems as well as client systems (essential)
