Hourly Rate: £14.45 per hour - £15.45 (Weekends)

Role Overview
Join a warm and welcoming care home in the heart of the Cotswolds, where your culinary skills will directly impact the wellbeing of residents. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about nutritious food, dietary care, and creating a homely dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Chef on menu planning, including seasonal and dietary-specific options.
* Prepare, cook, and serve meals in line with agreed menus and nutritional standards.
* Display daily menus clearly, ensuring options for cultural and dietary needs.
* Monitor stock levels and quality in accordance with the catering manual.
* Support statutory inspections and implement any required recommendations.
* Deputise for the Chef during absences, maintaining kitchen operations.
* Follow and record HACCP procedures and catering manual protocols.
* Uphold general standards expected of all team members within the home.
Skills & Qualifications
* Literacy and numeracy skills in English.
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Understanding of Food Hygiene Regulations and HSAW Act responsibilities.
* Level 2 Diploma in Food Production and Cooking (or willingness to work towards).
