My client, a national housing developer, is looking to hire a Site Manager for a new scheme based in Corby, consisting of a total of 125 traditionally built houses. Mix of private sale and HA and bulk packages.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working as a Site manager within a production team on similar new build traditional build projects. Able to run a busy & challanging scheme. Someone who is keen, driven and wants to build a successful career with a growing business.
Duties,
1. No1, reporting in to the Senior Contract Manager
2. Responsible for all trades and labour
3. Programming
4. Inductions and toolbox talks
5. Working in line with company programmes and have a clear understanding of customer care
6. Ensure sub-contractors and trades staff are working inline with programme and targets
7. Ensure any issues that cannot be rectified are brought to the attention of the No'1 on site.
8. Organise all trades & Labour and sub-contractors
9. NHBC stage inspections
10. Snagging/Re-snagging
11. Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
12. Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
13. Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
14. Health and Safety is followed and adhered to
15. Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
16. Ensuring any remedial work is completed prior to occupation
17. CMLS/Handovers
Qualifications,
18. Must have proven experience of being a No1 Site Manager on new build traditional build housing schemes
19. NVQ level 6
20. Trade background would be an advantage
21. Excellent references
