Job Title: Site Manager : Retail Refurbishment
Location: Thurrock, Essex
Duration: 5 Weeks
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the completion of a retail refurbishment project in Thurrock. The role will involve managing the over sheeting of the existing roof along with some minor internal works.
The successful candidate will complete a handover with the current Site Manager during the week commencing 1st September, before taking full responsibility for the project.
Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate site activities, including roofing and internal refurbishment works.
* Ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Maintain strict health and safety compliance on site.
* Liaise with the client, subcontractors, and project team.
* Manage snagging and ensure a smooth project handover.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Site Manager on retail or refurbishment projects.
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work certifications.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety and quality standards.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Available to start early September for the full duration of the contract.
