1. £13.57 per hour
2. NIAS HQ, Knockbracken Healthcare Park
3. Hours of Work: 18.75 hours per week,
4. Duration: Temporary, ongoing for approx 6 months
What you'll be doing in this role:
5. You will be responsible for providing a full range of administrative and secretarial support functions to Director and Assistant Director Level as required.
6. This will require the planning, prioritising and monitoring of workload to ensure efficiency and accuracy at all times, and will include gathering information, proposing solutions and taking action to solve problems as appropriate.
7. Organising and maintaining diaries as required and ensuring the Director / Assistant Director is well prepared for meetings.
8. Managing telephone calls, enquiries, and requests from internal and external stakeholders as required.
9. Devise and maintain office administration systems to deal efficiently with paper flow, organising and storing paperwork, documents, and computer based information.
10. Supervise and delegate work to staff as required, ensuring all tasks are carried out to agreed quality and time targets.
What you'll need for this role:
11. 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English/English Language and Math, or equivalent educational qualifications AND a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative or secretarial position to include experience of
12. Microsoft Office Professional Suite or equivalent e.g. word processing, creating spreadsheets, email management, creating databases, PowerPoint presentations.
13. OR 3 years’ experience in an administrative or secretarial position to include experience of Microsoft Office Professional Suite or equivalent e.g. word processing, creating spreadsheets, email management, creating databases, PowerPoint presentations.
14. Word/Text Processing Level 2 – OCR/RSA (or equivalent).
15. Ability to minute/note take at Committee level, meetings etc.
16. Ability to delegate, motivate and use initiative.
17. Hold a full driving license valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
