Reward Manager Role Purpose The Reward Manager supports the Flutter Functions People team, providing job grading, levelling, and benchmarking expertise for the Flutter Functions division—particularly during the ongoing transformation project within Finance (Project Polaris). The role partners closely with Finance leadership and People Partners, contributing to the design and execution of the people strategy across a globally distributed workforce (Cluj, Porto, Hyderabad, Sofia in 2025). Operating in a multi-location environment, the role plays a key part in organisational development through strategic reward expertise. This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months, offering an excellent opportunity to make a real impact, with the potential for extension based on business needs and performance. Accountabilities & Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong partnerships with the Flutter Functions People team and key partners in Finance. Lead job grading, levelling and benchmarking within the team. Support organisational design for Project Polaris, preparing role matrices, org charts, and supporting documentation. Collaborate with the Global Compensation team and other divisional Reward teams to ensure alignment for cross-divisional roles. Maintain awareness of local market trends that impact talent acquisition and retention. Provide guidance and responses on policies, processes, and pay ranges to People Partners and management. Support ad-hoc and project-based work across the Reward function. Skills & Capabilities Deep understanding of job architecture, grading, levelling, and benchmarking processes. Excellent partner engagement and partnership skills. Strong analytical and presentation skills (e.g., org charts, role analysis). Clear understanding of compensation trends and global market factors. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and educate. Collaborative approach, proactive, diligent, and adaptable to change. Knowledge of project work in HR, particularly relating to organisational design. Qualifications & Experience Familiarity with global job architecture frameworks. Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional HR teams. Experience in compensation, reward, or HR advisory roles. Experience supporting change projects and transformation initiatives (e.g., org design). Measure of Success Successful delivery of levelling and grading activity for Project Polaris. Strong relationships established with Finance leadership and People Partners. Timely and accurate benchmarking and levelling decisions. Positive feedback from partners on reward guidance and support. Effective collaboration with the Global Compensation and wider Reward teams. Contribution to shaping future reward processes and frameworks in the division. It provides strategic business partnering, shared services, systems, and subject matter expertise across global locations including Cluj, Porto, and Hyderabad, with Sofia joining in 2025. The function plays a critical role in supporting the business strategy and organisational growth, and it has expanded significantly over the last 12–24 months, with ongoing development.
