About the RoleWe’re looking for a Technical Sales Executive to join a newly created sales team focused on delivering innovative technical solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to grow into a high-impact sales role, with the support of a collaborative team and the freedom to shape their own path.
This is a new role in a brand-new department. You’ll be part of building something from the ground up, with the opportunity to grow into a more senior position. Travel will be minimal at first and increase as you gain confidence and product knowledge.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the sales team in achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets.Qualify and follow up on inbound and marketing-generated leads.Conduct outreach to potential customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn.Assist in preparing technical proposals and sales presentations.Participate in meetings or demos with qualified prospects.Maintain accurate records of leads and interactions in Salesforce.Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and outreach.Continuously develop your understanding of our products and industry.Provide feedback to improve lead generation and qualification processes.Contribute to the development of sales scripts and materials.Attend trade shows or events as needed (once up to speed).Required Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseEssential2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation in a technical environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.A proactive, team-oriented mindset.DesirableExperience in manufacturing, automation, or machine vision.Previous experience in a sales development or technical sales role.BenefitsCompetitive salaryCompany pension25 days annual leave + bank holidaysCompany health insuranceTraining budgetFree on-site parking
