Role Overview
You will support day‑to‑day HR activities across the site, working closely with managers and employees. The role focuses on employee relations, HR administration, compliance and supporting people initiatives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first‑line HR support to managers and employees
* Support employee relations cases in line with policy and legislation
* Manage HR administration, records and employee data
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding and inductions
* Support absence management and performance processes
* Ensure HR practices comply with employment law and company standards
* Contribute to engagement, wellbeing and people initiatives
What You’ll Bring
You have previous experience in an HR Officer, HR Advisor or HR administration role. Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice is essential. You’re organised, discreet and confident dealing with people at all levels. Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a unionised environment is an advantage.
