We are currently seeking an experienced labourer to play a crucial role in the daily operations of an expansive quarry in Glensanda. This position requires a strong work ethic, physical fitness, and the ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Operate and maintain various quarry equipment and machinery.
2. Shovelling rocks and materials on site.
3. Keeping the site clean and clear of spillages.
4. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
5. Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
6. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
7. Previous experience in a labour-intensive role.
8. CSCS card holder.
9. Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous tasks in varying weather conditions.
10. Comfortable living on-site Monday to Friday as an essential part of the role.
11. Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment operation and maintenance.
12. Strong commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
13. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
14. Full UK driving licence is preffered due to the location of the role.
