Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Trainee Sales Executive will be part of the sales team. On completion of a detailed product and industry on-the-job training programme, you will deliver and drive the sales of Rosderra products to local and global markets.

Job Title: Trainee Sales Executive
Location: Edenderry

Reports to: Head of Sales
Responsibilities will include developing sales channels, sales negotiations, account management, customer relationship development, and sales delivery. As part of the sales team, the trainee will engage in daily business activities, ensuring all products are sold at the best prices to premium customers across regions and product types.
The 18-month trainee programme offers a comprehensive understanding of the pork meat industry, from farms to processing, including value-added activities, food safety, regulatory requirements, logistics, and transport. Upon completion, the trainee will be equipped to handle selling, commercial activities, and customer relationships in the global market.
Responsibilities
* Learn all elements of the pig meat processing process
* Gain industry knowledge and understand product variations
* Understand the sales process, commercial arrangements, and margins
* Achieve value in sales and contracts
* Maintain high-level relationships with clients through regular contact and visits
* Identify new product opportunities with NPD
* Complete sales administration tasks
* Act as sales negotiator for clients and products
* Deliver gross margin and sales volume targets
* Participate in production planning and ensure price compliance
* Assist in revenue collection and credit management
* Ensure proper documentation and customer complaint follow-up
* Develop relationships with potential customers and competitors
* Manage finished goods stocks and ensure compliance with documentation
* Coordinate dispatch and transport to meet customer requirements
